Winter Break

X-mass was intresting in review, comparing what i spent to what i got, it's a better deal on my side, i got a Nikon D-50 ... *drools* every time i look at it ... so sexy xD ... spent 200$ on an iPod as a x-mass present for my gf, then 20$ on a set of crystal glasses for my mom ... etc. overall ... my holiday paycheque went to hell xD, so i realy cant say it was bad, got 220$ to dj a newyears party, then as soon as that was over i was the photographer for a Mary-Kay makeup seminar, wow ... before and after photos are so dull ... but i was there with some friends so that turned out ok, as a lesson learned, when invited to be a photographer for corporate events or seminars ... theres food, and coffe, and tea, and juice, and and ... its free >.>

For a starter tripod, dont spend too much, best company is Manfrotto but it will cost you a little more than average, Italian made, its what my mentor used but it broke and the replacement parts where expensive, that is the only downside. I just got something that cost me 25$ (Canadian)
